Try something new

While doing the right thing for our customer doesn't always mean using newest and most interesting technology, we must seek out times where it's appropriate to try something new

Implications

  • We must understand when the outcome of trying something new could provide a signifiant impact to the client if it pays off.

Rationale

Because we focus so heavily on doing what is best for our customers and their customers, we must not let technology take a back seat. We actively look for situations where trying out new technology and ideas could be a benefit of tried and tested approaches. This ensures that our skills and approaches stay up to date.

Rapid, reliable, repeatable realeases

Release early, and often to gain confidence and build trust in the product and with stakeholders that what we're building is the right thing.
